The project aims to raise awareness of the natural and cultural heritage of Portofino MPA to the public and young students, and inspire individuals to support environmental sustainability.
The project involves educational activities with schools and dissemination events with citizens on the conservation actions of the MPA. As part of the project, a special event titled "25th Anniversary of Portofino MPA" is planned on April 21st 2023, which will create a moment of awareness through live streaming images transmitted by a video diver immersed in one of the best diving spots of the Portofino MPA (Punta del Faro). Additional activities include "UnderWater Project" and "Discover the SPAMI by boat" to promote environmental consciousness and appreciation for the MPA.
